One of the ways we navigate the world is by using our sense of sight. Perception mimics the light reflected by its environment, exploring how the ‘act of looking’ often goes unnoticed.
Using light as a medium, the work creates a mirror where form, shape and texture is removed and only colour remains. Perception forms part of an ongoing exploration of technology’s ability to simulate sensory experiences.
This work has also been exhibited at The Science Museum & The Creative Computing Institute, London.
